Went there with a group of about 23 people. Server Mary was excellent. Started with a cold draught of Canadian beer. It was good. Quite a few of the folks ordered the prime rib of various cuts. Pretty well all looked rare to medium rare. I ordered an 8oz sirloin, cooked to rare, with french fries. When it arrived, I noticed that the french fries had seen way better days; most were so crunchy that they wouldn't even accept a fork. I didn't expect perfection (fresh cut etc.) but I didn't expect the extreme lack of perfection, either. The steak was cooked to blue-rare, less than I would prefer but I sure wasn't going to send it back! It was quite difficult to cut with the supplied steak knife but I managed. It didn't chew as tough as it cut but it was still on the tough side. As for flavour, there was nothing but the taste of of the burn where it was on the grill slats. Although I don’t know, I suspect that the mushrooms may have been canned. VERY disappointing. I've BBQ'd up way better sirloin steaks that I get from Sobey's. At least mine have true beef flavour. In all my decades of being in the area, I had never gone to the Innsville, despite the positive raves about it. I can see this having been my one and only visit there. I must say though, I haven't had a dinner out in many years where I've come back and felt that I got my money's worth. On my way out, I thought, by the way it sounded, that it was karaoke night on the pub side as the singing was a bit on the rough side. I looked in and no, it was a band whose singing was less than stellar.... One of the folks at my table was culinary arts student at Brock. He had not much good to say about his French Onion soup
View on GoogleA truly delightful three-course dining experience. The calamari entrée was by far the best I had in my life; it's a lovely balance of crispy, juicy, and flavour tastes. The rest of dishes were also tasty and remarkable. 5-star recommended.
View on GoogleI went there for the Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra dinner and show. It was a surprise for my grandpa's 90th birthday and he loved it. We all had a great night and it was an amazing show. The jokes, the sketch comedies, music and food were amazing.
View on GoogleMy partner and I went for Thanksgiving dinner, but their menu is so impressive, we decided to do that. I went with the prime rib. Amazing! So thick, tender, and juicy. Plenty of food. My partner had the fried pickerel, our appetizers were bang bang shrimp, hot. And escargot au gratin. There was so much food, we were actually glad that we didn’t order the salad. We thought we would have that later at home. For dessert, we split the pumpkin cheesecake with whipped cream, and cappuccino. Can’t say enough about this gem of a place. We’ve never been there before, and actually when I went in, but will be back again, and again, and again. Our waiter, Andrew, is incredibly professional, friendly, and top shelf! We had a lovely, lovely, dinner, and time there! Not enough photos, since everything was so delicious we scarfed it all down!
View on GoogleWe had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. We were served by Madalyn who did an amazing job. She had a large group that came in and was able to give us the attention we needed. The food was absolutely amazing. We went with a large selection of food which you can see in my photos.
