Royal Canadian Legion Branch 124

Our local branch located at 410 King St. in Niagara on the Lake is a community hub for veterans, its’ members, and the surrounding township. We work hard to be a resource for our whole community. This is a volunteer run non-profit organization, and we want everyone to know that they are welcome and appreciated, that we are inclusive, as all are welcome and encouraged to join.

For the Veterans

  • We offer a place of community with people of similar experiences.
  • We help with accessing services such as Veterans Services.
  • We hold Remembrance Services to honor the memory of those lost and who served.
  • We fundraise and use Poppy Funds to provide assistance to Veterans in need.

For our Members

  • We offer a place of community/ somewhere to gather together.
  • We host and participate in branch tour visits.
  •  We hold bus trip events to various locations of interest, such as the Warplane Heritage Museum.
  • Discounts on third party vendors with proof of card.
  • We hold events year round such as our Awards Dinners, or get in-house discounts on things such as our Steak Fry Nights and more!

For the Community

  • We offer a place for the community to pay their respects to those currently serving and those fallen.
  • We host the Annual Remembrance Day Ceremonies in Old Town NOTL and Queenston.
  • We continue our connections with the local elementary schools, Girl Guides, Air Cadets, Newspaper, etc. to engage and help teach the youth.

Branch 124 offers a variety of in house entertainment. 

We have a Fully Accessible Clubroom with licensed bar, and extended outdoor patio seating area. We have a indoor and outdoor sound-system paired with Apple Music for the best and constant music listening. Upstairs there is another fully licensed bar and kitchen off of our 180-person Ed Boldt Memorial Hall with new flooring and paint job.

For gaming structures we offer 2 shuffleboards, a billiards table equipped for pool, 8-ball,and snooker, as well as 2-dart boards downstairs, and 12+ upstairs in the hall.

Behind the bar there is available: decks of cards, board games, and more. 

We are also very-well known for our Weekly Fish Fry. So well known even, that we are the 2020 Platinum Winners of Best Fish Fry in Niagara on the Lake! Come on down on Thursdays from 430pm-7pm to taste the Fresh Fried Fish, Chips(French Fries), & Coleslaw!

Additionally the branch offers:  Weekly Draws, Holiday Meat Draws, 50/50 Draws, Saturday Activities and BBQs, Sports Draws, Bus Trips, Community Events and more!
