Martindale Animal Clinic

My partner and I have been going to Martindale vet for a few years now with our Cat bubble. We absolutely love all the staff here. Dr. Colangelo is wonderful, always makes us feel supper informed and gives us lots of options on care and treatment. We completely trust the staff here with our boy. We will always recommend it. They also have great exam rooms as well with nice calming scents for the pets which is greatly appreciated.

After researching various clinics that would accept birds I decided to bring my cockatiel Sunny to see Dr. Allen, and I cannot say enough about how compassionate and thorough she was throughout the entire visit. Dr. Allen performed an incredibly careful and detailed exam and treated Sunny with so much gentleness. Unfortunately, after the exam, I came to the difficult decision that the most humane option for Sunny was euthanasia. It was an incredibly hard moment, but Dr. Allen was so empathetic and patient. We never felt rushed, and she took the time to make sure everything was handled with care and dignity. She explained every step about the process of euthanasia and what we could expect. While I’m now deeply missing my little bird, I find peace knowing he was humanely put down and that his suffering wasn’t prolonged. While Dr. Allen’s knowledge and expertise were exceptional, it was her friendly and compassionate demeanour that made such a difficult visit feel more manageable. Thank you so much, Dr. Allen, for your kindness and compassion during such a difficult moment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Martindale Animal Hospital is hands down the best veterinary clinic I have ever trusted with my animals. They cared for my cat in the past and now continue to provide exceptional care for my dog, Harley — and I truly cannot say enough good things about them. Dr. Lindsay Davis is Harley’s primary vet, and she is nothing short of incredible. The entire team is clearly fear-free and so gentle with Harley’s sensitivities. They take their time, move at her pace, and treat her like she’s one of their own. It never feels rushed, and it’s obvious how much they genuinely care. What stands out most to me is how attentive and thorough they are. I once brought Harley in for something as simple as a toenail trim, and Dr. Davis went out of her way to give her a full rub-down — she was proactive enough that she nearly caught what we feared could be early-stage cancer. Thankfully it turned out to be severe osteoarthritis, but that level of awareness and diligence speaks volumes. They had already caught on early to her arthritis and equipped me with every tool I needed to properly manage her pain and keep her comfortable. Harley has multiple allergies, and they’ve carefully guided us onto the best diet for her. They’ve even provided medications for appointments outside their clinic at no charge just to help keep her calm and safe. That kind of compassion and support is rare. As Harley gets older and requires more frequent visits, the team truly feels like family. I see them once or twice a month now, and every single time we’re met with warmth, patience, and exceptional care. Most recently, they helped me coordinate bringing Harley to one of the top orthopedic surgeons in North America. Their guidance and advocacy have made an enormous difference in both Harley’s life and mine. I am beyond grateful to have found Martindale Animal Hospital. If you’re looking for a veterinary team that is knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough, and truly invested in your animal’s well-being — this is the place. Thank you for everything you guys do, Thank you for always going above and beyond for our pets. Ps. I have probably forgotten to mention a million things that they have done to leave such a lasting impact on me but want to add that during Covid they were phenomenal at what they did to keep us owners happy, keep in mind the social distancing laws, And being able to Rock the show while being in lockdown is a whole new level of awesome. They also always sent my little girl with a pretty bow, bandana, flower ( see attached images) or bag of treats after major appointments and I just think it’s the sweetest thing.

This is the place to go if you are looking for any care for your rabbits, Dr Davis was so thorough and so sweet to my bun, not only was she gentle she truly made my bunny feel as comfortable as possible for a vet visit. I’ve visited twice and both times all the staff have been so lovely. I cannot recommend this place enough! They also answer emails very thoroughly which I truly appreciate, as well as them reaching out after each visit to make sure things are going well. Thanks again guys! Will be recommending this place to anybody I know with bunnies or even cats & dogs :)

Mars & Luna had their very first visit at the clinic today with Dr.Davis! She was so thorough in explaining everything to us, honestly best doctor we've ever had for our babies! We feel very lucky to have found this clinic. They also got sent home with their own handmade catnip toys from one of their girls! As you can see in the photos they love them! Thank you for caring so much for our babies!
