Gord's Place Kitchen & Bar

We found this place on Google as we were in the area. The place is huge and so is the patio. My wife had the steak with fries and veggies and I had the meatloaf with garlic mashed and veggies. Both were excellent and the veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly. Lots of specials through the week, although the regular prices are very decent. The drink menu is very good too. The service was great and we didn't wait long, but it was not very busy as it was Monday afternoon. We will be back for sure as there was a lot on the menu that I want to try.

Went to Gord’s for trivia night. It was a lot of fun!! However, at that point the service was slow and the food was mediocre. I think it would be best to go on another night to judge the service and food quality.

went there one night...it was really nice they have an area to dance and areas to sit down and relax. the music was pretty good they played all the popular stuff that's on the radio

This review is based on the food solely, know that when you read it. The staff are great and the atmosphere is great as well. It's a really good place to get a drink and hang out. The trivia nights are awesome with really good drink specials. However, aside from the Thursday wing special the food really needs to improve, honestly. Everything is made well but the value is not good for the price. I have eaten here several times and have felt this way. The prices are far too high for what you get when applied to some of the menu offerings, the nachos being one example. This review will not keep me from visiting Gords, just from ordering food on future visits.

I enjoyed my meal at Gord's. First off, Gord's Caesars are the best Caesars. (Prove me wrong, children. Prove me wrong.) I had the most delicious, perfectly seasoned one when I went. We had the cheesy bake as an appetizer and it was quite good! Definitely enough for two people to share. As for the chicken wings, which I've heard nothing but good things about, were quite good ! While I wouldn't consider them god-tier wings or anything, the serving size, the price and the overall taste is well worth your visit (then again, the Caesar alone is worth the visit!)
