Glenridge Walk-In Clinic

My family member who is a type 1 diabetic who has been dealing with a extremely aggressive cough for the last week that has caused their lung capacity to be severely restricted and cannot lay down without feeling as though they're drowning, and thusly is experiencing quite a bit of nausea and vomiting, which as a type 1 diabetic can be life-threatening. After 2 hours of waiting on boxing day, the doctor barely spoke with her for 1 minute, did not even cover the basic diagnostic steps, only listened to breathing in one place, did not take temperature. Did not check airways. Did not check. Mouth did not take blood pressure. Did not take a proper history, this guy clearly isn't happy that he's being forced to work past 1:00 on boxing day and is just trying to get everyone out as quickly as possible. shrugged off all of her symptoms, saying there's nothing that he could do about it and sent her on her way without any prescription or any kind of medical advice whatsoever. This doctor is clearly just working on boxing day collecting a wage and does not care to actually make a difference in his patients well-being, absolutely disgusting

The receptionist is so lovely so it is hard to leave this review but I feel it necessary, and yes there was no wait time which now makes sense. The doctor did not care in the slightest for me, or asked me any questions. I felt like he downplayed all of my symptoms and I ended up in the ER in so much pain. I’ve never had worse experience with a doctor in my life.

I went to this walk in regarding pain in my hand. I explained what was happening and he sent me for further testing, when I came back to discuss them he found no issues (which is totally fine) and when I asked what it looks like he didn’t give me an answer (I get it, can be different things or too early to tell) but then he processed to go on saying when I get to his age I’ll have arthritic fingers anyways and did not discuss my concerns further. Although of this is frustrating that he spent more time talking about his fingers than mine, I understand. What I don’t understand is when I had asked if there was anything I could do to manage my pain he said “You’re in your 20s and will have kids soon and stay home anyways.” I think that is EXTREMELY dated and inappropriate. Me coming in with hand pains has nothing to do with my future regarding my choice to had kids or not. If you’re looking for someone to chat with, I’d recommend but i personally felt I had received NO help and was brushed along.

I had a great experience at Glenridge Clinic with Dr. Grant for my son’s appointment. Dr. Grant was kind, patient, and very thorough. He made sure we both felt comfortable and explained everything clearly. The clinic staff was also friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Today I went to the doctors for myself the doctor called my son a grod which is slang meaning rotten .. he also repeatedly tapped my son on the head about 25time fairly hard my son 10months old with a soft spot.. this place is usually fantastic the doctors I’ve seen have been great from now on I’m asking who’s the dr. On site and skipping out on this place if it’s him.. I have also taken the time to request a call to the manager to make a formal complaint about this man’s practice. I’m a young mom with social anxiety and will do anything to avoid confrontation so I didn’t actually saying anything to him but try and put space between him and my child but continued to pat his head. Hears the thing the appointment was for me not for my child so why was he touching him in the first place and number 2 where does he see it appropriate to pat my child on the head while I’m discussing my issues like he is a drum!
