Dr.Chivers and his staff are amazing! They always make room in they're busy schedule to get us in , our Cat Juno who is quite timid, doesn't get stressed out much at all as the environment is nice and calm. We would highly recommend 😊

Called to request pricing for a check up for my cat that has developed lumps on her belly. I was searching for a cat specific vet due to the nature of the growth rate and of course because they specialize in felines. I couldn't even get the situation out of my mouth before the lady informed me they aren't taking any new clients and to continue calling around. I do not have a current vet. I'm not aiming to be a continuous client, just wanted a specialist to look at my cat and potentially help her. Don't waste your time calling or going in if it's a sudden situation, they don't help with emergencies or sudden medical situations. This is not an ill report on the individuals or vet working here but my opinion on their availability to deal with sudden situations. I do not know whether the vet themselves are good or bad but heard good things which is why I called hoping for the assistance I did not receive because my cat is not an existing "patient"

My partner and I have been bringing our two lovely furballs to Garden City Cat Hospital for the last couple of years now after moving here from Toronto. Dr. Chivers and the team have been so friendly, caring and supportive. They have consistently made great recommendations that lead to our cats feeling better after a few unpleasant experience with illnesses. It never ever felt like they try to upsell us on products or services, like we had experienced from other animal hospitals. Trust me, I’ve had clinics upsell us on tests for potential illnesses that my cat wasn’t experiencing just for the heck of it. It’s weird and a turn off. At Garden City Cats everything feels right. They genuinely care. We are so grateful and thankful to have a safe place we can trust to bring our children (cats) to get the care they need and deserve. So blessed.

Had to bring my cat to Niagara during Christmas break and they were amazing working with me getting a prescription from my home vet. Very friendly and very helpful. After the medication he began to eat and returned to mostly normal!
