I wish I could give them less than 1 star. Arrogant, ignorant and misleading. Months ago one of the staff Brian closed my filed and I had paid the total overdue without any request for deduction. Brian gave me false information, confirming that if I pay the account in full a new card will be issued automatically with a reduced limit. I waited for months and received nothing. So I called to check, the person who received my call was too arrogant and disrespectful. Kept repeating his same sentence as if it was pre-recorded and did not care to help. Pathetic experience! I wish companies stop putting their valued customers in these peoples hands, giving away misinformation and misleading with false hopes.
View on GoogleVery negligent corporate attitude and poor communications skills when dealing with their open accounts. On Jan 5 2026, I closed a simple outstanding account that was overdue. Total was under 400$. They rarely contacted me but sent one letter of notice. On the more serious note a negative mark was applied to my public credit record bringing down the score substantially. This review will not minimize my responsibilities to this effect of the delinquent account, but for those of you who think that they are (cbsc) difficult and non responsive , well they are. On January 5th , I settled this account seeing it was a fairly small amount in their bucket of affairs. Being responsible is always a growing opportunity, and shows good faith to creditors. My part is done and I would of needed a release letter for the credit bureaus that they affected with their posting to my public records a negative (collections)debt. Seemingly they don't follow the laws that governs them, as they constantly delay my efforts with their actions. Simply put I'm still waiting for that release letter 3 weeks later. For those of you that don't understand collections procedures, this release letter is a typical function of their daily process. In brief if you want NOT be forgotten and forged into bad credit status at the creditors bureau, an individual like myself must be able to constantly call them and ask for their cooperation and act within due diligence. This could be very arduous for a person with responsibilities to see-through and constantly trying to contact the collections agent to remind them to act with responsible ethics. In short this collections company is non compliant even with their own work ethics surrounding collections laws. One star rating review is a gift to the undeserving service they display with impunity, also as per their constant negative reviews. You would think they'd be responsible, as they expect us regular debtors (like myself) should be. But they don't have the moral fortitude to process their everyday tasks properly. Anyone they represent as their customers like canadian tire and cubit portable storage , will be boycotted from myself in the future as per their conduct towards their consumers in affiliation to cbsc (credit bureau of st catharines) Tomorrow is another day be informed and stay safe everyone.
View on GoogleHave an overdue account with Canadian Tire. They passed it to these people. Keep calling and threatening me. Threatening to take my house. They have me on the verge of requesting MAID. Let my family file a lawsuit against them and Canadian Tire.
View on GoogleI haven't had issues with Chantal. They seem nice and worked with me as I work to fix MY debt. Most people review bombing are just mad they got to the point they have to take responsibility. It's on us. Not them for the situation we brought on.
View on GoogleKathy Dunbar(?) and her use of “I shouldn’t have to be doing this” in my recent voicemail probably suggests she should be removed from managing accounts. Just because someone cannot answer the phone or even if they choose not too, doesn’t mean said phone doesn’t record and transcribe each and every voicemail word-for-word.Thank you for letting me know if anyone wants to speak to me they’ll need to send another representative because Kathy Dunbar has made this unnecessarily uncomfortable with her use of “I shouldn’t have to do this for a matter from February”. It’s only mid-way through April (3 pay periods from February).
